Snelgrove has started his new role – Mr Black Brand Ambassador in Australia. Those in the industry are likely to have encountered Jimmy during his time working at one of Australia’s most innovative bars, PS40, and representing Seedlip in Australia.
Mr Black Founder, Tom Baker, is happy to have Snelgrove join the mission to bring craft coffee into the night. “Jimmy is a coffee nut – so that was a good start. Not only does he have an insider’s understanding of the hospitality industry, he’s also had a lot of success building a category story as well as a brand at the same time. His remit is to continue to preach the gospel of coffee cocktails in Australia’s best bars, hotels, pubs, and restaurants.”
For Snelgrove, he’s excited to re-ignite his love for Australia’s finest boozy coffee, “I remember trying Mr Black and thinking ‘damn this is good’ when it was first launched. Since then I’ve always kept an eye on things as the brand has gone from strength to strength. I’m pumped to be part of the team and have plenty of ideas – expect to see some cool activity from Mr Black in the near future.”
